The photo summary of our four-day stay in Poland in January 2015.

Świeradów-Zdrój (or Bad Flinsberg in German) is a small spa town in south-west Poland right on the border with the Czech Republic and close to the border with Germany. In the past, the town was part of Germany, and was popular with well-heeled Berliners who could take a first class train to partake of the spring water’s supposed magical healing properties. Now, the town still does well out of German health tourist money, but with the installation of a lift up one of the mountains the town is now also well placed as a winter ski resort, too.

Wrocław had been on my list of places to visit for a few years, so I was happy to get the chance of a day trip there.
